I don’t know about you, but the first trimester and third trimester kicked my ASS. For those almost three months, I was either in bed or by the toilet. What I craved? McDonald’s big mac meal with a large fry and a large sweet tea. Only thing I could eat. The ONLY thing. I didn’t take my doctor’s advice, being a first time mom; I didn’t know the mistakes I was making.
Here’s some advice: LISTEN TO YOUR DOCTOR. He or she went to extensive schooling for years and years just so they can help you get through it. I’m sure that 99% of them know what they’re talking about. I refused to stay active or take my nausea pills. Both, I have researched, would have made my first trimester SO MUCH easier then I made it. My advice? Work if you already have a job. If you don’t have a job prior to getting pregnant, go walking. Any kind of movement will help your body TONS being pregnant. Walking, in some studies, is said to help nausea.
As far as the third trimester, do yourself a favor and nest. Quit that job I just told you to keep and veg on some Netflix after rearranging your house a hundred and two times today. With that big belly and swollen feet, I doubt you could do much else anyways. Keep that yoga ball though; it’ll help the baby realize that after bouncing and rolling for weeks, hey, it’s past 40 weeks, do you not know where the exit is? Do you need me to get a landing strip for you?
